PLANTATION NEGROS ARISE AGAIN!
avatar

When I think I’ve read enough about the deprecation of Black women another group of plantation Negroes up the ante on ignorance.  There are plantation Negro women who are criticizing 16-year old Gabby Douglas; and their criticism is SO VERY DEEP.  Those numb-nuts are criticizing the Olympic phenom’s hair.  That’s right.  These illiterate, shallow, empty heads are writing ugly comments on Gabby’s hair.

So, let me get this right.  Here is a beautiful, mega talented gymnast of African decent who is not a baby mama at 16 years old; but an Olympic gold medalist.  Instead of seeing Miss Douglas as a role model for their teen daughters, these pea-brain plantation crabs-in-a-barrel are trying to drag the gorgeous young lady down to their level.  Well, as Gomer Pile would say, “Surprise . . . Surprise . . . Surprise!”  Not really.

This goes to show that plantation Negroes are so self-hating that anyone who has the same hue yet is successful are their archenemies.  Instead of using the awesome success of Gabby as a focal point to get off the plantation, these crazies would rather drag all success Black women back into the slave quarters.  I have news for them: Sorry slaves.  HELL NO! WE WON’T GO!  By the way, I wonder if those plantation Negroes remember they were freed in 1863.  Oh, that’s right.  They probably dropped out of high school and can’t read!

In support of Gabby, here are a few comments for those plantation Negroes (if they can read):

Half of those women making negative statements look like they couldn’t even chew bubble gum without getting winded with exhaustion. We have a beautiful young Black girl who’s a wonderful inspiration for girls who look just like her (something that was sorely missing when I was a child) and these knee-grows are throwing shade? Disgusting! Let those women perform a few floor exercises and as they’re being taken to the hospital with broken backs and dislocated hips let’s see how much smack they talk then.

Gabby is not only a gold medal winner and all around contender , she is on the cover of TIME MAGAZINE and all these P.O.S can gripe about is her hair?! these people are hopeless.

Not only is Gabby a role model so is her mother and sisters who made sacrifices to get her to this place. I throw in the towel with the majority of our people.

I see conversation back on the plantation hasn’t changed!

And the most classic comment of all: “Gabby Douglas got real hair and real Olympic. All y’all got is weaves and envy.”  YES!

For Gabby Douglas, keep doing the wonderful things you do.  You are my shero; and I know of many more young, and older, Black women who admire you beyond measure.

P.S. Plantation Negroes, Gabby has won gold.  The only gold you have is your fake, gold grill.  Oops, did I say that?

I never cease to be amazed at the level of ignorance and self hate some of our people display. Here we have a young girl who strove for excellence and it paid off bigtime. She was not looking for glory or fame, but to honor the sacrifice her family made so she could have an opportunity. And then our people try to shame her in this most degrading manner. What is the world saying about us? Moreover, what is Gabby thinking about her own people? Surely, she did not expect such a backlash to attempt to overshadow her history making feat. It is just shameful. Thankfully, she and her family are in key positions to leave blackistan. They left the mentality long ago if they ever had it. It took vision to do what Gabby has done. It took true parenting to make it happen. Bravo to Gabby and her entire family. Those haters will still hate while Gabby goes on to win more medals. If these low life bw put half the time into something positive that Gabby put into her daily practice, so many more would be making history and strides too. But they can't see beyond their shortsightedness and hate. These are the same bm defenders who blame everything they don't have on white folks instead of becoming more determined to succeed in spite of. Nope they are hopeless losers who I refuse to even allow in my circle. No time for foolishness or nonsense. They have managed to show the world yet again how ignorant we can be in the face of Gabby's triumph

@SwirlQueen It's funny how once those ignorant BW got their arses handed back to them not another word has been heard from them.  When you have Mike Tyson calling them out, they knew they had a serious mental problem.  I'm so glad we have begun to see Blackistanis as they truly are: brain damaged.

Not only does she have a gold metal but she will have a lot more CASH and exposure worldwide.  None of the naysayers will be know by anyone but the people in the sewer they live in.

She won a gold medal. That is what matters. I don't care whether she was in a weave, a wig, a perm, braids, cornrows natural hair whatever she had on her head don't matter one bit.

1000% agree. This situation speaks to the shallowness of the BC--no hard work, no goals, no dedication. Nope--not as important as looks (hair, clothes and bling). That's why we're in this dirty diaper pail now. SMDH

@Christelyn  Well said!  I am truly beside myself on this.  Just when we think we can't possibly sink any lower in our own eyes and the eyes of the world, we go and prove it.

@Christelyn So many of us have tried to wrap our heads around such reasoning; but then we began to become brain dead and opted out!  Sometimes, we just have to leave them where they stand. ;-)

Excellent post.

I watched Gabby and she was great, a team leader!  Her hair was fine.  All the girls wore similar hair styles.

Some people are simply ignorant and refuse to be happy for other people.

@ann4950 As I thought more about this post I began to giggle because my imagination got away from me.  I imagined those same ignoramuses in Gabby's place with their new permed hair, in an up-do trying to do a backward flip sweating because they didn't want to mess up their hair. LOL!!!!  Yep, they can just stay on the plantation.

@JoanneJackson  so you call out that the author just made it up instead of doing a 4 second google search where you would have found all of the HATE being thrown at gabby by BLACK ignorant women? the gallwell here, since you need to be spoon fed apparently: http://jezebel.com/5930785/haters-need-to-shut-the-hell-up-about-gabby-douglass-hair

@socialitedreams

Can some bw just relax and enjoy the moment? I bet the Chinese or Japanese would have not given their ladies such grief. Because they would have been too over joyed after winning a GOLD medal. Good going Gabby and her team members.

@socialitedreams Unfortunately, I just wasn't going to provide a link.  I believe it is up to the reader to research before making accusations of this article being ". . . another subliminal attack on Black women . . . hmmmm. . ."

@JoanneJackson: All the Black women I know love Gabby, too.  As this article clearly states, it's those plantation Black females who are hating on this talented, phenomenal young lady.  If you don't believe me, Google it.  You'll see.

@ClarissaBurton Just when thinking I couldn't be anymore appalled at 'The Black Community Machine', something like this happens.  I implore Black women to distance themselves from those who align themselves with Gabby Douglas's critics.(And as another poster pointed out on another forum: How many of these critics are walking around obese and unable to climb a flight of stairs, let alone compete in the Olympics?)
